Eastover announces the arrival of our new Executive Chef, Joshua Mouzakes. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, interned at The French Laundry, worked from the west coast to east coast in United States and United Kingdom including The Lord Jeffrey Inn, Joel Robuchon, Mirabelle, Castle Hotel in England, …, Josh has been mentored by some of the best Chefs in the country including the reknowned Chef Guy Reuge of Mirabelle and Thomas Keller of The French Laundry.
The characteristic of Josh’s cultural experience has focused on both French haute cuisine and nouveau cuisine. His hands of experience extends to every part of the commercial food service, having fulfilled leading roles as Menu Planning, Trainer, Poissoniere, Pastry Chef, Line Cook, Sous Chef, and Chef De Cuisine for Mirabelle on Long Island.
We are excited to have Josh’s energy and intellect applied to creating the food and beverage program at Eastover. With the responsibility of a fully appointed restaurant kitchen and a separate banquet kitchen in the Mansion and a separate nightclub & special events kitchen in Tally Ho Hall – Josh has seized the opportunity to build a dual menu program of both very fine dining and family affordable fine dining at the Mansion and exciting and funky pub-food combinations for late night fun at Tally Ho.
