Join Z'ev Rosenberg and Lonny Jarrett – two of the leading practitioners, teachers, and scholars of Chinese medicine – for this 5-day retreat. Z’ev Rosenberg, L. Ac., is recognized as one of the first generation of practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine in America. Before opening his practice in acupuncture and herbal medicine in 1983, he was a shiatsu therapist and mac- robiotic counsellor since 1975 in Denver, Colorado and Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was one of the initiators of an acu- puncture licensing law in Colorado, spearheading a drive as President of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado from 1984 to 1988. As well as being a professor at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine for the past twenty-three years, he has lectured widely around the United States, and has written many articles published in all of the professional English- language journals of the Oriental Medical profession. Presently, he is California director of the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine, director of the Alembics Institute, and a member of the Xinglin Institute, a research organization in classical Chinese Medicine.
Lonny Jarrett is an internationally recognized practitioner, teacher, and scholar of Chinese medicine. He has practiced in Stockbridge, Massachusetts since 1986. He is a founding board member of the Acupuncture Society Of Massachusetts and a Fellow of the National Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Lonny is author of Nourishing Destiny: The Inner Tradition of Chinese Medicine and, The Clinical Practice of Chinese Medicine as well as numerous book chapters and articles. He was recently featured in the text, The Great Work of Your Life: A Guide for the Journey to Your True Calling by best selling author Stephen Cope. Lonny hosts NourishingDestiny.com, an online worldwide community for 3,000 practitioners of Chinese medicine.
*Your deposit of $300 is non-refundable. Payment of balance is due May 20th, 2016. Written cancelations prior to July 01, 2016 will receive full refund minus the $300 deposit. After July 01, 2016 the tuition portion of your payment will be refunded only if we can replace your seat for the retreat.
We have made the all inclusive (tuition, room & board, grounds, amenities, ...) rate affordable by offering 3 or 4 people shared rooms, we also have camping as an option, as you noticed we subsidize a lot of the cost to make this available. We only have 4 - 6 quadruple rooms, 10 triple rooms. Anyone who is interested in a triple or quadruple room, please reserve a two people share room, then put the request in the note during your registration online. You request will only be granted when we have 3 or 4 people request the same. No mixed gender triple or quadruple room available though. When we do not have 3 or 4 people request the same, you will be given a two people shared room and will be charged accordingly. For this reason, we encourage you to come to the retreat with your friends.
