Macrobiotic Annual Summer Conference

The 2018 Macrobiotic Summer Conference will feature over 25 leading macrobiotic teachers, counselors, and chefs including Cathy Albanese, Sheri Demaris, Christian Elwell, Edward Esko, Naomi Ichikawa Esko, Alice Fava, Masumi Goldman, Virginia Harper, Alex Jack, Sachi Kato, Judy and Larry MacKenney, David and Nicola McCarthy, Amber Maisano, Tom Monte, Christina Pirello, Evan Root, Jane and Lino Stanchich, Denny and Susan Waxman, Sommer White, M.D, Bettina Zumdick, and many others.

The conference will include over 50 presentations on Macrobiotic Cooking, Macrobiotic Philosophy, Energy Healing, Visual Diagnosis, Nine Star Ki, Environmental Studies, Shiatsu, Yoga, and Meditation. Private sessions will be available for Macrobiotic Counseling, Shiatsu Massage, Nine Star Ki Readings, Menu Planning, and Tao Yin Yoga.

Studies will run from morning to evening and culminate with a Gala fundraising dinner for macrobiotic education on Friday, August 3. Gourmet macrobiotic meals will be served daily, and the head chef for the Gala benefit dinner will be Patrick Verre, an executive chef from France who served as Michio Kushi’s personal culinary ambassador and who has cooked for Windows on the World, La Gaulosie, and the Ritz-Carlton.

The Summer Conference is a perfect occasion to further your knowledge and understanding, meet old friends and make new ones, and enjoy a week of delightful food and fellowship in a beautiful natural environment.

Tuition

There are three tiers of participation: Essentials, Preferred, and Premium:

Meals, room, & tuition of $1195; the Gala ($125) is included.

Couples King or Queen is for two people, the 2nd person gets 20% tuition off, with meals, room, the gala and tuition all included.

Schedule

As well as all the lovely lectures, most presenters will be available for personal health consultations, bodywork, yoga, or other private sessions. Availability is limited, so please book as soon as possible by calling Eastover 866-264-5139.

Featuring 3 healthful, delicious vegan macrobiotic meals each day.

Payment Policy

A $50 non-refundable deposit is taken at the time registration occurs.
The full balance is collected 7 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Other than deposit, no fees are incurred if cancelled up to 7 days after reservation date.
15% of the total cost is retained if cancelled 30 days or more prior to the event.
30% of the total cost is retained if cancelled 8-29 days prior to event.
50% of the total cost is retained if cancelled 4-7 days prior to event.
100% of the total cost is retained if cancelled less than 4 days prior to event.
The $50 deposit given at registration is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy for 
Early Bird registrations (before April 30): Non-refundable. Credit for balance paid (less than $100 non-refundable fee), if canceling between May 1 and July 1, may be used toward another Planetary Health conference or workshop.
