Monthly Macrobiotic Wellness Retreat

Apr 10, 2018 - Apr 15, 2018

“Let food be your medicine and your medicine be food.”—Hippocrates

The Macrobiotic Wellness Retreat will introduce you to macrobiotic principles, cooking, and energy healing in a beautiful natural setting in the Berkshires. From dinner and the welcome lecture on Thursday evening to the final cooking class and brunch on Sunday morning, you will learn the basics of the macrobiotic diet and lifestyle from among the world’s top macrobiotic teachers, counselors, and chefs to optimize your health and well being and realize your dreams in life.

Held every month, this retreat will feature practical dietary strategies and self-healing techniques to help you integrate macrobiotics into a busy lifestyle. You will learn how to prepare delicious, balanced meals, make simple, safe home remedies, and minimize exposure to harmful chemicals and artificial electromagnetic radiation.Graceful morning exercises (held outdoors in nice weather against the spectacular October Mountain backdrop – MA’s largest state forest) will help you develop a vibrant, radiant glow. Personal counseling, shiatsu massage, and other personal services are available as part of the program or may be taken separately.
